According to Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet ﷺ said that a third—and even a third is a lot. Leaving your heirs wealthy is better than leaving them poor and begging from people. (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 2743; Sahih Muslim, no. 1628)
