According to Jabir ibn Abdillah (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), he went to the mosque and found the Prophet ﷺ at the door. The Prophet asked if he had just arrived, and he replied yes. The Prophet ﷺ then instructed him to leave his camel, enter, and perform 2 units of prayer. Reported by Sahih al-Bukhari, 2097; Sahih Muslim, 715.
