The Prophet’s grandfather ﷺ – Q4

‘Abd al-Muttalib had vowed to sacrifice one of his sons if Allah granted him 10 sons. When he fulfilled this vow, the lot fell upon ‘Abdullah, the father of the Prophet ﷺ, but he was ransomed with 100 camels. (Reference: “al Fusool fi Seerah ar-Rasool” Ibn Kathir)
