The Christian was Waraqa ibn Nawfal, the cousin of Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her). He confirmed to the Prophet (ﷺ) that he was the awaited Messenger. Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari no. 4953 and Sahih Muslim no. 160.
