The Prophet ﷺ said: A man stealing from ten houses is less serious than stealing from his neighbor’s house. Reported by al-Bukhari in Al-Adab al-Mufrad, no. 103, and authenticated by Shaykh al-Albani in Sahih al-Adab al-Mufrad, no. 76.
