Moussa 3 – Q5

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) ﷺ said: “The Angel of Death was sent to Moses (peace be upon them), and when he went to him, Moses slapped him very hard, spoiling one his eyes. The angel then returned to his Lord, and said, “You sent me to a slave who does not want to die!” Allah restored his eye and said, “Go back and tell him to place his hand on the hair of an ox; for he will be allowed to live for a number of years equal to the number of hairs coming under his hand” Moses said: “O my Lord! What will be then?” He said: “Death will be then.” He said, “(Let it be)now.” He asked Allah to bring him within a stone’s throw of the Holy Land. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “If I were there—near the Holy Land—I would show you his grave by the roadside, near the red sand hill.” Reported by al-Bukhari, no. 1339.
