The adoptive son of the Prophet ﷺ was Zayd ibn Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him). Before the revelation prohibiting adoption with a change of name, he was called Zayd ibn Muhammad. (Reference: Qur’an 33:5: “Call them by the names of their fathers; that is more equitable before Allah”)
