On the authority of ‘Umar ibn Ouseid, ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Three things were given to ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib: his marriage to Fatimah, the closing of the doors, and what took place at Khaybar. Reported by Ibn Abi ‘Asim, no. 1199, and authenticated by Shaykh al-Albani.
