Shirk in this community is even more imperceptible than the footsteps of a black ant. Reported by al-Tabari in his Tafsir 1/369, Ibn Abi Hatim 1/62, and al-Hakim al-Tirmidhi in Nawadir al-Usul 4/147; it is authentic. See Sahih al-Jami’ no. 3730.
