Uthman was nicknamed Dhul-Nurayn (the possessor of the two lights) because he successively married two daughters of the Prophet ﷺ: Ruqayyah and Umm Kulthum. Reference: Reported by Ibn Kathir in Al-Bidaya wan-Nihaya.
