Allah is Modest and Concealing, and He loves modesty and discretion (reported by Abu Dawud, 4012). Scholars such as Ibn al-Qayyim, in Madarij as-Salikin, have explained that Allah’s modesty is a majestic and perfect attribute, indicating His mercy and gentleness toward His creatures.
