Sins 1 – Q1

On the authority of Tariq ibn Shihab, Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, when a man commits a sin, a black spot is inscribed on his heart. Then he commits another sin, and a black spot is inscribed on his heart, and this continues until the color of his heart becomes that of a rabda goat. Reported by Ibn Abi Shaybah in Kitab al-Iman, no. 9, and authenticated by Shaykh al-Albani in his verification of this work.
