According to Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has eaten garlic, onions, or leeks should not approach our mosque, for the angels are disturbed by what disturbs the children of Adam. Reported by al-Bukhari in his Sahih, no. 854, and by Muslim in his Sahih, no. 564.
