Ibn al-Qayyim said: The envious person resembles Iblis and is, in fact, one of his followers, because he covets what Iblis loves, namely the corruption of people and the removal of Allah’s blessings from them. Reported by Ibn al-Qayyim in Al-Fawa’id.
