According to Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: One marries a woman for four reasons: for her wealth, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion. Choose the one who has religion, and you will be successful. (Reported by al-Bukhari in his Sahih no. 5090 and Muslim in his Sahih no. 1466)
